Sorry to be a pain, and i have very little experience in the actual programming behind a bot, but is there any formal documentation? I cant seem to get BabBot to run or attach to wow, with an error about the users policy. I can only assume this is because the user BabBot is trying to run wow under doesnt exist on my system, but i cant find anywhere in any of the file, which user this is.

You're right. We still miss documentation, but in many ways the requirements are similar to those of zolo. Make sure you run BabBot from a user with administrator privileges and that you have the "guest" account enabled on your OS so that it can run WoW's client as guest.
The current release only works on 32bit OS btw, so if you have XP 64 or Vista 64 it won't work.

yeah sorry, i worked out about the guest account from a post on mmowned. I turned off guest after zolo got taken offline, cheers for the reply.
the other thing is when i try to load the blackmagic profile, i get an unhandled exception error - i cant get the bot to fight for me, however it will attach to wow and move the character a little bit. obviously still a huge amount of work to do, but what ive seen looks good - gratz.

Consider it as an **ALPHA** release. If it can attach/run to your client, read from memory and do a couple of basic things, then I'd already be happy with it because it would mean that the fundation is solid enough to build upon.

You can try out some waypoint movement but you won't be able to save/load the paths you make. Basic combat is also in but as I say.. it's just "basic".

But work is going on and if there aren't major bugs we might be able to pull off another release with some more features soon enough.

more worried about the fishing aspect. Leveling is easy..I got two kids who can grind shoveltusks, mammoths and rhinos.

Fishing is my hated part...

Right now we do not have any plans for fishing. Once the mining/herbing features are up and running we might move on to adding fishing support, unless someone volunteer to take care of it :-P
